Read Robotwin the Comicstrip

click to go to Robotwin.com
If you like your androids, cyborgs and robots with a dash of humor, check out Robotwin, an online black & white comicstrip about a boy and his twin robot. Set in a not-to-distant future where just about everyone has a robot, and just about everything is imbued with artificial intelligence, Robotwin is a light-hearted look at what it means to be human both now and after the so-called singularity, with robot science newsfeeds and prize alerts.

Read Robotwin, then like it and share it!

Now Get Cynosure T-Shirts!

Awesome Cynosure Comics t-shirts are now available. I like the way the gray alien invades the Cynosure Comics logo and you have to decode what it says. This design probably won't last forever because I'm planning on changing it soon. So, if you like it and wanna sport this shirt, don't miss your chance to get one now!

Cynosure chapter zero is now fully online at CynosureComics.com. This is the first time it's ever been online so now's your chance to begin the adventure. It's a challenge to make standard-size comicbooks readable in a web browser, but hopefully you won't have any trouble. In print, this chapter originally appeared in Cynosure #0 with a cover price of $1.95. I still have copies and I'll continue to make it available at that price from here, plus I'll sign it for ya. In case you want to buy the whole set at a discount, you can hop on over to New Dimension Comics where they have a 4 issue Cynosure set for only 5 bucks (plus shipping)!

After re-coloring this cover from Cynosure #1 on the computer, I think it looks much more like a mainstream comicbook. Cave drawings are still more elegant, but I think I managed to make a nice flowing design here. The eye circles around and around the page as it follows the lines of action, dips down into the V-shape of the two struggling arms, down to the tip of that blade and jumps back up. The UFO seems to nearly blend in with sky, but at it's center, the yellow energy emission looks like a glowing eye, echoed in a subliminal circular shadow in the pavement. Perhaps this comicbook is alive with some alien intelligence, observing you as you absorb its haunting coded message.
